Get your prompts for January 22 to January 28, 2025!
Welcome to Week 4 of The Diurnal Drabble Dare, January 22-28, 2025.
How was Week 3? How many drabbles did you write? I managed to write 10. Here’s one of them:
Take the Hint
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”
“It’s obviously not nothing. You seem angry.”
“I’m not.”
“Then what’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”
“Why won’t you tell me the truth?”
“I am.”
“No, you’re not. If those lines between your eyebrows get any deeper, you’re going to need to clean them with a toothbrush.”
“Don’t police my facial expressions.”
“I just want to know why you’re making them.”
“You know why.”
“No, I don’t. You need to communicate better.”
“You need to listen better.”
“Listen to what? You’re not saying anything.”
“What about now?”
“You don’t have to flip me off.”
“Apparently, I do. Leave me alone.”
